So I get/am getting/had this crazy situation going on. You see/Picture this/Allow me to explain my first wife, well, she's actually still/totally/really a friend now. Like, we hang out, go/do/make stuff together, the whole shebang/nine yards/deal. At first, it was pretty weird/super awkward/kinda strange, but now it's just normal/chill/a thing. Truth be told/Let me tell you/Honestly, I think it works because we talked/communicated/shared things out. We both understood/agreed/accepted that our relationship had changed/was over/wasn't meant to be and we wanted/decided/needed to stay friends.
People/Folks/Some guys think it's super strange/totally bizarre/a bit off, but I don't/can't/won't see the problem/issue/fuss. We're both happy/content/fulfilled with our lives and we enjoy each other's company. Maybe/Perhaps/Who knows it won't work forever, but for now, it's a win-win/blessing/good thing!
